Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Yantra AI API gateway and dashboard (the "Service"), operated by Aditya Sunil Borgaonkar ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Yantra AI is an OpenAI-compatible API gateway that routes your requests to third-party large language model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others) and meters usage against a prepaid credit balance held in Indian Rupees (INR). We are an intermediary; we do not create the underlying AI models and do not guarantee their outputs.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your password secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys.

3. API Keys & Security

API keys authenticate requests and are shown only once at creation. Keep them secret. You may revoke a key at any time from your dashboard. You are liable for usage and charges incurred by any key issued to your account, including keys that are leaked due to your failure to secure them.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation, or any third-party AI provider's usage policies;
• generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive content;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• resell or sublicense access without our prior written consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. Credits, Billing & Taxes

• The Service runs on prepaid credits. You add credits via our payment processor, and usage is deducted per request based on the tokens processed and the published per-model pricing.
• Prices are listed in INR and may change with notice. Applicable taxes (e.g. GST) may be added as required by law.
• Credits are a prepayment for services, are non-transferable, and have no cash value except as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Third-Party Providers

When you send a request, its content is transmitted to the relevant third-party AI provider for processing, subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party outputs, availability, or data handling. Payments are processed by Razorpay, subject to their terms.

7. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI outputs, or uninterrupted availability. You are responsible for evaluating the suitability of any output for your use case.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aditya Sunil Borgaonkar will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount of credits you paid in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, or as required by law. On termination, unused credits are handled per the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kolhapur, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.
